The Hyundai MnSoft R700 is a premium Korean dashboard camera that was released in late 2012. Hyundai MnSoft is the “automobile infotainment” firm of Hyundai Motor Group. This camera has very good picture quality throughout the day and good image quality at nighttime. It records 1080p in 30f/s with a mean bit rate of roughly 13,000kpbs. Video segments are recorded in 1 minute segments. The camera includes a G-sensor but doesn’t include GPS.
We have never been able to affirm what processor this camera is using but apparently it is using the Sony Exmor IMX122LQJ CMOS sensor. Check our official website: https://dashcambox.com
We’d like to thank our manhood Mtz who provided the first review with this dashboard camera and has created a movie review as well.
Due to the large price tag and associated issues, this camera has not been popular as a dash camera. Hence very few issues are reported.
Apparently the framerate differs (approximately 30fps) and sound sampling rate (approximately 8000Hz) for every clip. You’ll need to convert the FPS (to 30FPS) and sound sampling rate if you’d like to join with all these tools.
Should I Purchase?
While the video quality is good and the small size is not too large, the over $200 price is a bit steep for a non-GPS camera.
